LWW tennis finishes fourth at Plainfield North Invitational

The Lincoln-Way West girls tennis team finished a perfect night on the court, defeating Crete-Monee 6-0 and Plainfield South 7-0 in a Triad match on Aug. 29. 

The Warriors got singles wins from Emily Tigchelaar, Lily Kulhan, and Gwen Baker.

The doubles teams of Jess Dakin & Avery Webb, Amelia Peterson & Gianna DePersia, Grace Cremieux & Sydney Rutkowski, and Addi Misek & Elle Pruim were all victorious for LWW.

The Netters opened up the season with a fourth-place finish at the eight-team Plainfield North Invitational. 

The Netters were led by the doubles tandem of Grace Cremieux and Gianna DePersia, who took second in their flight. 

The girls will be back in action next Saturday when Lincoln-Way West hosts the eight-team Lincoln-Way West Team Tournament.
