Nate Elstner and LWW Wrestling start the season with a third place finish

The Lincoln-Way boys wrestling team delivered a strong performance at the Marmion Invitational, finishing in third place out of 14 teams. 

Leading the way for the Warriors was tournament champion Nate Elstner, who claimed the title at 215 pounds.

In addition to Elstner’s victory, the Warriors had two other wrestlers earn second-place finishes: Brady Glynn at 113 pounds and Haden Anderson at 144 pounds. 

Jakob Siwinski (138 pounds) and Brandon Barvisha (285 pounds) each took third in their respective weight classes.

Shane Stream (126 pounds) and Jimmy Talley (190 pounds) also earned fourth-place finishes, rounding out a successful day for the Warriors. The team’s strong individual performances highlighted both individual talent and cohesive team effort.
