Lincoln-Way West used a powerful offensive attack and steady pitching to cruise past Revere 12–2 in a boys varsity baseball non-conference matchup.

The victory was marked by strong offensive performances and effective pitching from Lincoln-Way West. The result improves the Warriors’ season record and highlights key contributions from several players. The game was played on March 31, according to MaxPreps.

Michael Pettit collected three hits in five at bats, including a triple in the seventh inning and singles in the third and fourth innings. Jacob Howard homered to right field in the second inning, while Peyton Globke grounded out to score another run. Jackson Mansker singled to center field in the third inning, bringing in another run for Lincoln-Way West. Kellen Schulte earned the win as the starting pitcher, allowing four hits and one run over four innings with six strikeouts and two walks. Luke Gouty pitched one inning of scoreless relief. Mansker went 3-for-4 on the day, while Carson Paulas and Quinten Lange each had multiple hits. The Warriors improved their season record to 5-0 after this game, according to Prep Sports USA.

Looking ahead, Lincoln-Way West is scheduled for a home conference match against Stagg High School on April 6 at 4:45 p.m., entering with an overall record of 6-1. The teams last met on May 31, 2025, when Stagg defeated Lincoln-Way West by a score of 4-1.

Lincoln Way West serves grades nine through twelve with an enrollment of 1,941 students during the 2019–2020 school year and is located in New Lenox within Will County. Of these students, grade ten had the highest concentration at 39.4 percent; grade nine accounted for 36.3 percent; grade eleven made up 36.1 percent; and grade twelve comprised 37 percent.  The student body was composed of approximately 81.8 percent white students, 12.7 percent Hispanic students, 1.8 percent black students, and one percent Asian students during that period, according to the Illinois Report Card.
