Lincoln-Way West’s boys basketball season came to an end with a 75-48 loss to Lockport in IHSA regional play.
The postseason game took place Feb. 25 in Lockport, where the Warriors faced the Porters in a regional matchup to conclude the 2025-26 campaign.
Lincoln-Way West battled throughout the season in a competitive Southwest Suburban Conference schedule and carried that effort into the postseason. Lockport pulled away during the regional contest, but the Warriors continued to compete until the final buzzer as their season came to a close.
The Warriors’ roster featured a group of seniors and underclassmen who contributed throughout the winter. Lincoln-Way West’s lineup included Nolan Ballantine, Aidan Bach, Niko Rokas, Ethan Swanson, Luke Gouty, AJ Smith, Ryan Hegji, Vincent Lazzari, Drake Been, Owen Heilman, Cole Gilboe, Eiden Kubilius, Caden Hammer, Jaxson Bills and Conor Broders.
Several seniors helped lead the program this season, providing leadership and experience while helping guide the Warriors through a challenging schedule.
Although the season ended in regional play, Lincoln-Way West’s campaign reflected the commitment and hard work of the players and coaching staff, with younger players gaining valuable experience as the program looks ahead to the future.
