The Lincoln-Way West Warriors varsity girls water polo team delivered a commanding performance, rolling to a 13–3 victory over the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs at the Hinsdale Central Invitational.
The game was played on March 14 at Hinsdale Central High School.
The Lady Warriors wanted to prove that history repeats itself, and they succeeded. They comfortably cruise past the Bulldogs in this match. The Lincoln-Way West girls maintained consistent offensive pressure, spreading scoring opportunities across the lineup. Their discipline in the pool limited the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs to just 3 goals, disrupting possessions with strong positioning and timely steals. The Warriors’ balanced execution on offense and defense highlighted a dominant, wire-to-wire performance in tournament play.
During the last season, Lincoln-Way West played twice against Riverside-Brookfield. In both games, the Lady Warriors nearly shut out the Bulldogs. They won 10-2 on April 28, 2025, and 9-1 on March 15, 2025.
Looking ahead, the Warriors will next face Niles West on Friday, Mar. 20, at 4:30 p.m. at Niles North, according to Lincoln-Way West’s athletic calendar.
