The Lincoln-Way West Warriors continued their successful season with a decisive 49–7 victory over Lapeer.
The game, held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Lapeer High School in Michigan, showcased one of the Warriors’ most complete performances this year. The Warriors quickly set the tone with two early first-quarter scores and maintained a strong defensive presence that resulted in three interceptions. Lincoln-Way West’s offense achieved success through a balanced strategy, accumulating 190 rushing yards and 104 passing yards over 49 plays. They converted five out of ten third downs and maintained possession for nearly 25 minutes. The quarterback demonstrated efficiency by completing nine out of fourteen passes with two touchdowns and no turnovers.
The defense was dominant throughout the match, restricting Lapeer to just 69 rushing yards and one late fourth-quarter touchdown. Lapeer’s offensive struggles were evident as they completed only one out of nine third downs and suffered three interceptions. Lincoln-Way West also recorded a sack and forced several drives to end in punts or turnovers on downs.
Lincoln-Way West is set to return home to face Bradley-Bourbonnais on Friday, October 17, 2025. The upcoming game is anticipated to be another high-energy event under the lights in New Lenox.
