The Warriors dance team has continued to finish strong this season with a fifth-place finish at a competitive weekend event, showing steady improvement as the year progresses.
The competition took place Saturday, Dec. 6, at Oswego High School, which hosted the event and welcomed multiple programs from across the region.
Led by head coach Melissa Sweeney, the Warriors delivered consistent performances and earned the opportunity to compete alongside several established and talented teams. Both squads finished fifth overall, marking a positive early-season benchmark as the team focuses on growth, execution, and consistency. The event provided valuable experience against quality competition and highlighted the team’s continued development as the season moves forward.
The Warriors remained composed throughout the day and took advantage of the opportunity to perform in a well-organized and competitive environment. Oswego High School provided a strong setting that allowed teams to test their routines early in the season.
Up next The Warriors will continue preparing for the postseason. If qualified, the team would compete in the IHSA Sectional on Jan. 24.
