Lincoln-Way West’s boys golf team shot a season-low 154 in a hard-fought loss to Lincoln-Way East at the Green Garden Blue Course, 154-145.
It was the best team score over nine holes achieved by the Warriors in two years.
E.J. Dwyer led the way with a one-over par 37, Drake Been carded a 38, Chris George shot 39, and Charlie Stream rounded out the team score with a 40. ]
The LWW boys golf team made school history this week when it won the Schuman Cup for the first time with a team score of 151.
The Lincoln-Way West varsity boys golf team finished in fifth place in the boys division of the Homewood-Flossmoor Co-Ed Classic at Lincoln Oaks Golf Course with a team score of 325.
The Lincoln-Way West boys golf team kicked off its season with a team score of 322, which was good for an eighth place finish out of 20 teams at the Warrior Invitational held at The Den at Fox Creek Golf Course in Bloomington.
