Warriors outlast Bradley-Bourbonnais 51–44 in conference win

Lincoln-Way West beat Bradley-Bourbonnais 51–44 in a boys varsity basketball conference matchup. 

The Warriors earned the road win on Feb. 13 at Bradley-Bourbonnais High School.

Lincoln-Way West High School weathered an early punch and closed with authority against Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in a gritty conference battle. The warriors won three of the four quarters and never let Bradley-Bourbonnais build momentum. The Warriors set the tone early with a 13–10 first period, absorbed a second‑quarter push, then pulled away after halftime behind a 16‑point third and a composed finish in the fourth.

Aidan Bach set the tone with a first-quarter three and finished with twelve points, all from beyond the arc. Eiden Kubilius powered the offense with 18 points, scoring in every quarter. Drake Been delivered in the clutch, drilling a fourth-quarter three and adding a strong finish inside as part of his ten-point night. Luke Gouty chipped in seven points and steady free-throw shooting, while Ryan Hegji added a key third-quarter bucket. With the victory, Lincoln-Way West advances its record to 14-16 on the year.

Lincoln-Way West hosts Joliet Central in an IHSA state tourney game Mon., Feb. 23, 2026, at 6 p.m.

The Warriors topped the Steelmen 53-46 in their last meeting on Nov. 28.
