Lincoln-Way West’s girls basketball team wrapped up the 2025–26 season with an 18-15 overall record, finishing the year with a competitive showing in one of the area’s toughest conferences and another strong chapter in the program’s history.

The Warriors concluded their season Feb. 19 at Shepard High School in Palos Heights in the IHSA Class 4A regional championship game against Homewood-Flossmoor, following a 56-33 regional semifinal victory over Oak Lawn earlier that week.

Throughout the winter, Lincoln-Way West established itself as a balanced and disciplined team. The Warriors averaged 54.5 points per game while holding opponents to 44.5 points, finishing the season with a +10 scoring margin across 33 games.

The Warriors’ roster featured a mix of veteran leadership and developing young talent. Seniors Ava Tisch, Molly Finn, Sophia Murphy and Heaven Ward provided experience and leadership throughout the season, helping guide the team through a demanding schedule.

While every season eventually reaches its final game, the 2025–26 campaign was one defined by growth, teamwork and dedication. The Warriors’ efforts throughout the winter gave the program plenty to build on moving forward while leaving behind a season the team can be proud of.
