LW West’s girls varsity badminton team achieved a commendable second-place finish at a tournament held on Saturday, April 12.
According to the competition results, the Warriors scored 13 points overall, defeating Romeoville 5-3 and Argo 5-1 in consecutive matchups. Despite their strong performance, Lincoln-Way West fell short in their final match against Reavis, losing 3-5 in a closely contested battle that ultimately determined the tournament standings.
The team demonstrated consistent performances across both singles and doubles play, showcasing depth and determination throughout the day.
