Warriors softball roll past Joliet West 18-3

Lincoln-Way West scored early and often in an 18-3 win over Joliet West in a nonconference tournament matchup.

The game took place April 1, 2026, in Joliet.

Lincoln-Way West wasted no time taking control, putting together a dominant offensive showing that overwhelmed Joliet West from the start. The Warriors consistently applied pressure at the plate, stringing together hits and capitalizing on scoring opportunities throughout the game. Their aggressive approach led to a steady flow of runs, allowing them to build a comfortable lead and keep momentum on their side. Defensively, Lincoln-Way West limited Joliet West’s chances and prevented any sustained rallies, keeping the game firmly in hand. The Warriors also showed strong situational awareness, advancing runners and taking advantage of defensive miscues to extend innings and add to their lead.

Joliet West managed to push across three runs but was unable to match the Warriors’ offensive output as the gap widened over the course of the game.

Lincoln-Way West continues play April 1 against Lincoln-Way Central following the decisive tournament victory.
