Lincoln-Way West’s offense demonstrated formidable strength on Saturday with a decisive 12-2 victory over Naperville Central. This marks the Warriors’ third consecutive win, enhancing their season record to 18-9.
According to the team’s performance details, Reese Cusack led the lineup by going 3-for-4, including a home run and a double, while contributing three RBIs and scoring three runs. Fellow player Reese Rourke also made significant contributions with a home run, two RBIs, and one run scored, as Lincoln-Way West maintained control of the game from the outset.
Paige Seivert added to the team’s efforts with a 2-for-4 performance that included a double, an RBI, and one run scored. Molly Finn reached base four times during the game, ending with a 2-for-2 record alongside two walks, a stolen base, and one run.
Reese Forsythe contributed by doubling and scoring twice; she went 1-for-3 and reached base after being hit by a pitch. Kaylea Armstrong also doubled in the game, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Abby Brueggmann added two hits, including a double, while crossing home plate once.
Brueggmann also excelled as pitcher, allowing only three hits and one earned run over five innings while striking out four batters.
Jess Noga provided additional support off the bench with a hit and an RBI to complete Lincoln-Way West’s offensive display.
