Lincoln‑Way West and Homewood‑Flossmoor met in a conference boys water polo matchup that ended in a decisive Warriors victory, 14-4.

The game took place at Lincoln-Way West on Thursday, April 16, at 5 p.m.

Senior Night energy filled the Westside pool long before the opening sprint, with the program celebrating its Class of 2026 seniors: Conyer Fehrenbacher, John Kucala, Tyler Stasiak, Luke Dorman, Billy Spee, and Santiago Reyes. An Instagram post earlier in the day set the tone, honoring the group’s four‑year commitment and rallying fans for the conference showdown.

“The Lincoln-Way West boys aquatics program is proud to present our class of 2026 seniors,” the program said. “Congratulations to Conyer, John, Tyler, Luke, Billy, and Santiago on an amazing 4 years with the team, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you all!”

Once the whistle blew, the Warriors delivered a performance worthy of the occasion, rolling to a 14–4 win over the Vikings. West controlled the pace from the start, stacking goals, tightening defensively, and never allowing Homewood-Flossmorr to build momentum as the seniors anchored both ends of the pool.

Lincoln‑Way West will have another conference matchup on Thursday, April 23, at 5 p.m., when the Warriors head to Bradley‑Bourbonnais.

The teams’ most recent meeting came on May 15, 2025, when West dominated a home playoff matchup, defeating Bradley‑Bourbonnais 24–4 to advance in the postseason.
