The Lincoln-Way West girls golf team turned in a strong performance last week at a co-ed invitational, highlighted by standout scores and a personal milestone.
Junior Reilly Carlson paced the Warriors with an 81, finishing 10th overall in a highly competitive field. Sydney Pohlmann followed with an 84, showcasing consistent play that kept her among the leaders throughout the day. Senior Molly Hogan added one of the team’s biggest highlights, carding a new personal record with a 92.
Head coach and teammates praised Hogan’s improvement, noting that her performance reflected the steady progress she has shown in practice. Juliana, Raegan, and Heidi also contributed with determined efforts, rounding out a balanced lineup that gave West confidence heading into the rest of the fall schedule.
The invitational marked another positive step for the Warriors, who have been building momentum with each competition. With reliable scoring at the top of the order and strong depth throughout the roster, West is shaping into a team capable of making noise in upcoming meets.
