Lincoln-Way West alum Evan Wydajewski threw for two touchdowns as the Benedictine Eagles beat Loras College, 27-22 in Dubuque, Iowa.
Wydajewski, a 6’2, 180-pound senior quarterback from New Lenox, completed nine of 16 passes for 58 yards on the day. He’s thrown for 315 yards and six touchdowns through two games.
Wydajewski played in eight games last season and threw for 971 yards.
He graduated from Lincoln-Way West in 2021, where he was academic all-state and was the SWSC Red Conference Player of the Year.
Next: Benedictine (2-0) will host Rockford in the home and conference opener at 1:00pm next Saturday in Lisle.
