Lincoln-Way West boys varsity water polo continued its strong season with a decisive 19-6 victory over Lockport on Tuesday, April 15, at home.

According to the team's performance, the Warriors controlled the game from the start, using a balanced offensive attack and stifling defense to dominate the visiting Porters. With this win, Lincoln-Way West improved its season record to 13-5.

The fast-paced offense of West proved too much for Lockport, as multiple players contributed goals throughout the match. The home crowd had plenty to cheer for as the Warriors built a double-digit lead by halftime and maintained their advantage.

"This was one of our more complete games this season," head coach Nick Schaub said. "We executed on both ends and kept our composure. The guys are clicking right now." Schaub noted that Lincoln-Way West has now won 13 of its last 18 games and is gaining momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The team looks to continue its strong play in upcoming matchups as postseason play approaches.

The Warriors are set to return to the pool later this week with another conference matchup against Homewood-Flossmoor. Game time details will be announced on the team’s official schedule.
