The Lincoln-Way West girls varsity soccer team delivered a commanding 5-0 win over Bradley-Bourbonnais on April 30, improving their season with a well-rounded team effort.
Senior Kiersten White led the way offensively, scoring two goals and adding an assist in a dominant performance. Katelyn Mrozowski, Reagan White, and Molly Gillis each found the back of the net to round out the scoring for the Warriors.
Mrozowski and Gillis also contributed assists, helping to fuel a fast-paced attack that kept Bradley on its heels throughout the match. The Warriors controlled possession from the opening whistle and never looked back.
On the defensive end, goalkeeper Natalie Kohlhagen recorded a clean sheet, thanks in large part to a disciplined and organized back line that consistently shut down Bradley’s offensive chances.
The Warriors’ ability to combine sharp offensive execution with strong defensive cohesion was key to the victory. With contributions from every part of the field, Lincoln-Way West continues to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
The team now looks to carry this energy into its next contest as it continues to push toward postseason play.
