Lincoln-Way West athletes delivered standout performances at the Southwest Suburban Conference (SWSC) Boys Championship, earning multiple top three finishes in a dominant team showing.
Senior Austin Rowswell led the Warriors, capturing first place in the 400-meter dash with an impressive time of 46.94 seconds. He also secured third in the 200-meter dash at 21.60 seconds.
Freshman Zaven Johnson contributed with a strong third-place finish in the 400, clocking in at 49.84 seconds.
Junior Nicholas Dul earned third in the 3200-meter run, finishing in 9:39.61.
In the hurdles, senior Brendan Vlasak claimed second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.46 seconds. He followed that with a first-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles at 38.12 seconds.
Lincoln-Way West’s 4x400-meter relay team took first place, posting a time of 3:21.85.
In field events, senior Ryan Stiglic topped the podium in the pole vault, clearing 14 feet, 7.5 inches (4.45 meters).
The Warriors’ performance at the SWSC Boys Championship showcased depth, talent, and determination across the board as they gear up for the postseason.
